Each year, Distillery Lane Ciderworks offers a series of cider-making class that covers the basics of home cider-making. These classes will give you the knowledge and equipment you need to brew a batch of cider at home. Head Cidermaker Tim Rose and Orchardist Rob Miller run the informative class.
Cotton & Reed is excited to host the second class in the series, and we'll also share notes on adding botanicals and spices to ciders to enhance fermentation.
The class costs $150 per person (pre-registration and a $75 non-refundable deposit is due to hold a spot in the class). This fee covers the class, tastings, and all of the materials needed for participants to ferment a case of their own hard cider at home (fresh cider, fermentation container, airlock, and yeast).
